I believe that even everyday rituals like a morning cup of coffee
should be enjoyed from a wonderful piece of artwork pretending to be
cup, that touch and feel are just as important as how something looks,
and the integrity of a piece lies in the truth of why and how it was
made.

These pictures are of the wonderful artisans in Peru that make my work.

The factory is located in a small town outside of Lima, Peru. The scene
is a beautiful paradise surrounded by flowers and
multi-colored singing macaws.

Milani Home subscribes to the practices of the International Fair Trade
Association by creating opportunities to alleviate poverty in Peru and
promoting sustainability.

The skill and spirit that goes into every piece is essential to my
philosophy of enriched living. Not only is it important to me that my
designs continue to be handmade in much the same way I create my work,
but that each artisan is treated with respect and receives a fair wage.
It is this truth and love that resonates in each piece of Milani Home.

So, the circle is complete. From my hands and heart, to the hands and
hearts of the loving artisans and back to your heart and home.
